The International Visual Culture Review

The International Visual Culture Review posed itself questions on the nature of image and on the function of image creation. This interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary review brings together the outlook of researchers, theorists, professionals and teachers drawn from diverse fields of interest such as Architecture, Art, Cognitive Science, Telecommunications, Computing, Cultural Studies, Art Design, Education and Learning, Film Studies, History, Lingüistic, Marketing and Distribution, Mass Media, Museography, Philosophy, Semotic, Photography, Psicology, Religious Studies, etc.

The International Visual Culture Review accepts original manuscripts addressing the role of visual art in society, the influence of images and visual media on individual and social behaviors, and the use of new visualizations technologies, among other topics. The journal welcomes theoretical and best practices approaches written from an interdisciplinary perspective.

The journal accepts theoretical works, thematic reviews, methodological prescriptions, and case studies. The journal is peer-reviewed and indexed according to the criteria developed by leading rankings. It is based on qualitative processes in review of contents, ensuring the highest quality in our published works. The arbitration system is carried out through ­external evaluators. Only original texts in English are accepted.
